We cannot imagine life without plastic. The production of plastic worldwide has increased considerably in recent years, further exacerbating an existing problem: the  ubiquitous nature of plastic means it gets to places it has no business being and the damage it causes there is immense.

This course addresses why plastic is so ubiquitous and how it causes significant environmental damage as plastic waste. It also explores strategies to reduce plastic pollution and waste.
